Newsletter March 2016

We are busy welcoming Spring this Half Term with our Theme of Baby Animals and Easter. we had a lovely trip to Wrights Farm and enjoyed meeting all the Animals.

Fundraising

We would like to thank all of you that brought raffle tickets, for our Christmas Raffle.. We Have bought lots of lovely new toys and Learning aids as well as having our lovely new windmill bookcase made.

Illness

As there has been a few cases of winter Vomiting bug locally we would just like to remind you that children must be kept at home for 48 hrs after there last bout.                                        We have also had a couple of cases of conjunctivitis. please can we remind you how highly contagious it can be. Please encourage your children to avoid touching there eyes and to ensure they wash there hands regularly.

Dates For The Diary

  • World Book Day – 3rd March 2016 –                                                                                                      Please dress up as your favourite Book Chararacters

  • Lunch at School – 17th March 2016 (We will need help to make this possible)                  We will be walking to School from Pre School for Lunch, if your child does not normally attend this day please don’t worry we will be doing other lunch time visits. If your child does attend this day but does leave at lunchtime please can we ask you to collect them from 1:oo pm from the big School.

  • Easter Egg hunt – 24th March 2016 (Last Day of Term) –                                                           We will be having our annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Green in Thurlton. All Children and Parents are invited to join us. We will be leaving Pre School 1:oo pm to go on our hunt. It would be great for all children to have a member of their family to join the hunt, if you are unable to attend with ur child please let staff know.
